Rosslyn and Ballston form the bookends of prime real estate in Arlington VA. Rosslyn is the first stop on the Orange Line metrorail as you enter Virginia from DC. Rosslyn real estate is characterized as elegant and tall rather than wide. It is dressed up in a suit during business hours and funky after dark.
Four major projects are going to dramatically change the face of Rosslyn real estate during the next several years. The first new construction condominium in Rosslyn to be completed is The Waterview. You can't even buy this view in DC itself... only here at The Waterview in Rosslyn. The developers know what a prize they have and it is reflected in the price per square foot, of course.
The next addition to Rosslyn real estate is Turnberry Towers condominium. Turnberry is a international symbol of extreme luxury. Neither Arlington nor Rosslyn have seen anything like this before. Service, luxury and more service. They will park your car, open the front door, help you with your groceries, procure your tickets to the Kennedy Center... even press the button on the elevator that takes your directly to your home. If Rosslyn real estate is within your sights and you have a budget for luxury, you won't be disappointed by Turnberry Tower. One of the many standout features is the amount of outdoor space allocated to each unit. The balconies are made to be enjoyed and have the space for your favorite furnishings.
There are two more towers on the horizon for Rosslyn. The sheer hight of these two towers will make them a major attraction for Rosslyn real estate. They are to be 76 feet taller than the two commercial towers that now scrape the sky over Arlington. A recent Washington Post article said that business owners have begun marketing Rosslyn real estate as "Manahattan on the Potomac". This development, named Central Place, is supposed to include an observation deck that is projected to draw 450,000 visitors a year with its gorgeous vistas. If you are looking for the next hot wave in real estate Rosslyn may be worth giving a close look.
