My clients happily refer me to family, friends and neighbors who also deserve first-class treatment. Year after year, over 90 percent of my new business comes from referrals. This allows me to focus my time on making the buying or selling experience first-class. I look forward to providing you with the same experience.
My offices are conveniently located in Arlington near Ballston Metro Station and in Reston off the Dulles Toll Road.
Client for Life...
Once a client competes a transaction with us, we consider them a friend and a client for life. We keep in touch, provide discounts and resources, and keep them abreast of market changes through our monthly e-newsletter. We keep it fun with occasional gifts and events. Our service does not stop at the sale!
My Background...
Northern Virginia has been home most of my life. I graduated from Falls Church High School and then from James Madison University. My first job was with EDS on a Toshiba contract in Irvine, California. My degree was in Computer Information Systems, but my focus quickly became Marketing. I worked my way up through the ranks of EDS for several years before accepting a new opportunity, back in Northern Virginia.
A technology company was just getting started and they needed someone to manage their marketing department. This was right before the big dot com crash. We evolved with the changing market conditions and grew out of a tiny office in Arlington into a worldwide company with a major influence over the billion dollar business travel industry.
Back in high school I thought that I wanted to work in Real Estate and somewhere along the line, that got lost. With some good momentum behind me and a lot of confidence in my marketing abilities, I decided to change industries and follow my original dream. I started quickly, helping over 30 people buy and sell homes my first year in real estate. I was rapidly learning the ins and outs of real estate , but I was tiring quickly. When you are doing well, real estate can be an around-the-clock business.
Midway through my second year I decided to change my business model to focus more on referral business and less on marketing. It was the best move I could have made. No longer was I chasing around strangers that didn't know me from "Adam". Now I was working primarily with folks that had already heard great things about me. I could spend more time with these clients and continue providing a superior home buying or selling experience. I recently started a testimonials page where you can read what current clients have to say first hand.
Outside of real estate I surf and snowboard when I can. As close as the beach and mountains are, they never seem to be close enough. One of my other passions is following the Redskins. It's tough sometimes but I have always believed that a real fan stays loyal. No bandwagon here!
I have traveled all over the world and if nothing else, it has given me the ability to relate to people. Regardless of age or background you can find common ground with almost anyone. I love that about human nature.
Favorite Quote: I have learned, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. --from the "Conclusion" to Walden
